Babysitters are 18 years and older. They are usually nannies, mothers helpers, childcare workers, teachers or after school carers or students who are studying in relevant fields. Babysitters usually do not do any housekeeping duties for the children or family, except clean up after the children and any work areas.

We provide sitters in the Brisbane area, for hotels, serviced apartments, functions, corporate businesses and private homes. Whether it’s for daytime, evenings, weekends, overnight stays, temporary live-ins or live-out positions or for children with special needs. Casual rates for private engagements

$60 for the first three hours + $15 per hour thereafter for daytime.
$52 for the first three hours + $13 per hour thereafter for 7pm onwards
$170 for overnight stays or 24hour period.
$30 cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 48 hours of booking.

For Public holidays & New Years Eve. Rates and fee’s are double.

Fees are per family. If there are more children than the immediate family please advise at time of booking because you may need more than the one carer.

Fees are payable at the time of employment. All you do is pay the carer. Please check legal obligations for P.A.Y.G & workers compensation.

If you require a CCB receipt from your carer, they will only write out a receipt for their fee only! This will excludes the agency fee which is included in the first three hours. As the agency fee is a service fee not a childcare fee.

However if you require a CCB receipt for the full amount then you will need to pay Care for Kidz direct. Please see below for these rates.

Casual rates for corporate engagements

If you require a tax invoice or a receipt to claim back any money from your employer, insurance, or for business purpose or would like to claim back CCB for the full amount then these rates are:

$75 for the first three hours + $15per hour thereafter for daytime
$65 for the first three hours + $12 per hour thereafter from 7pm
$190 for an overnight stay or 24hr period.
$50 cancellation fee if cancelled within 48 hours.

For Public holidays and New Year Eve rates and fees are double.

You do not pay the girls direct. We will send you a tax invoice. Fees must be paid within 7 days of invoice. Cheques are to be made payable to Care for Kidz. If you do pay the girls direct (cash or cheque made out to them) then a tax invoice will not be sent.
You also will not be responsible for any tax, or workers compensation. Care for Kidz will take care of that.

Childcare Benefit

As of the 1 July 2000 the Federal Government replaced the old childcare rebate with the childcare benefit. It is now administered by the Family Assistance Office. The FAO is a joint venture between the ATO (Australian Tax Office) Centrelink and Health Insurance Commission (Medicare).
Care for Kidz is a registered Childcare provider, as are our carers. If you need to claim any childcare costs associated with work or studies then please ask at booking.

Issuing Receipts for CCB
